Living on the “Island of the Gods,” they embrace authenticity in their daily lives, showcasing their rich heritage through vibrant ceremonies, art & rituals. This authenticity is not just about preserving traditions, it’s about living in harmony with nature & each other. Balinese culture emphasizes the importance of community, where relationships, connections & mutual respect are paramount. As a visitor, I often find that engaging with local Balinese —whether through shared meals, ceremonies, or enjoying conversations—offers a glimpse into their way of life. This connection fosters a deeper understanding of the values that guide them, reminding me that authenticity is rooted in being true to oneself & honouring the community one lives in.

Authenticity, now regarded as a “vibration” higher than even “love”, b/c it resonates with truth & integrity, which is the ultimately the foundation of one’s inner happiness, a strong sense of that is abound when around the Balinese. Hence, as an example to all, if we embrace our true selves, free from the constraints of societal expectations or external validation, we align with our core values & beliefs.
