Enough Questions
Do you ask enough questions or do you settle for what you’re told? — DA anonymous
Being lied to isn’t nice. Even if we don’t have proof of the lie, we all intuitively know when something isn’t right. The key at that point, is whether you settle for what you’re told, or you question the “gap between” what your intuition tells you vs. what you’re presented with. The delta to bridging that gap, is overcoming your FEAR of challenging the status quo. It can be scary to take on a person you were in love with, a figurehead in a position of power, people who you trusted that have gone behind your back or an authority etc, etc….
We are “caged” by defining ourselves to social norms & societies rules of what we’re allowed to pushback on, trying to be nice, or preserve our existence according to external rules rather than listening to that voice inside of us. But we MUST be BRAVE and listen to that voice that is loud but drowned out by the ever growing fear of the unknown, or of questioning something that doesn’t feel right.
Even if it’s not words that come to mind but rather a feeling encouraging you to listen more to your inner voice, be guided by that intuition. The feeling that you must “connect the dots” yourself rather than being told how they should be connected.
IF you take that leap, FACE THAT FEAR and ASK THOSE QUESTIONS, you’ll be surprised at how LIBERATED you’ll feel on-the-follow. You will feel that you’ve learnt something about yourself & discovered the courage inside of you to do it again & again & again, & become even more direct, to the extent where you demand your WORTH, & what is FAIR. THIS.IS.GROWTH. So, if things don’t feel right, never “just settle” for what you’re told….
