I Am Enough
I.AM.ENOUGH —- DA
2020 has been a rough ride for a lot of us, with many of its twists blindsiding, triggering a myriad of emotions. However, it’s important to remind ourselves that we’ve survived regardless, evidencing our resilience. This means that how we’ve adapted has been “enough” to allow us to move forwards, even if it’s in a different direction vs. where we were originally intended.
It takes real mental work to transcend hardship. But even after misfortune, resilient people are able to change course & move toward their goals. There’s growing evidence that elements of resilience can be cultivated: failures & mistakes don’t have to be setbacks but lessons from which we can learn. Hence, if we take a moment to analyse our resilience, we realise that we are “enough” & we do not “lack” anything.
I have found that to achieve the feeling of being “enough”, you must first believe it, both in your mind & by affirmation in your thoughts. If you choose not to do so, then no one else can do it for you – so – it’s simply a DECISION for you to make. Write it down & say it OUT LOUD to yourself. When you make that choice, you become the decision maker & in turn put yourself in a place of power; this means we hold the key to our life #facts
Everyday, we must work on this decision – in our thoughts, actions & habits. Our THOUGHTS CREATE our life, so we have to think +IVE thoughts & at certain times, force ourselves to do so. At low points, or when I’m lacking motivation, by adding discipline & consistency to my thoughts, I repeat some of the following +IVE affirmations: I AM whole • I AM good on my own • I AM a caring person • I AM loving • I AM LOVE • I.AM.ENOUGH.
Over time, I’ve found that thing’s that I repeatedly think about or say, I am able to manifest. So, I dare you to DECIDE to let go of your -IVE thoughts of “lack” that are holding you back, in lieu of some of the aforementioned +IVE affirmations. If you practice these consistently making them a part of your daily thoughts in routine, you’ll find that life will change & that you ARE indeed ENOUGH….
