Match My Hustle
Match my hustle. Better yet, BEAT my hustle and INSPIRE me to ELEVATE mine — @mrcalumbest
Who do you hang out with? Do you gravitate towards top-performers with a positive mindset & attitudes, or do you find yourself in cliques of people who gossip & spew negativity – the naysayers, cynics & skeptics?
As I observe, I often see negative, borderline entitled “cliques of people” more & more together – almost as if they seek each other out for affirmation – the wrong kind of affirmation. It seems these types take comfort in surrounding themselves with other critics who loudly complain that things are a mess, leadership is a joke, the training has no value etc, etc….
Popular motivational leaders often maintain, “You become the average of the five people you spend the most time with”. If that’s the case, who you surround yourself with MUST be CENTRAL to how your mindset is influenced & the journey your life takes if you stick with them.
Hence, to get away from negativity & critics MUST be the way forward, right? Moreover, it then makes sense to be “intentional” about seeking out those who are successful – those that are winning, because, believe it or not, many of those top-performers would LOVE to see YOU win TOO = they understand that “you rise by lifting others”.
The common denominator of all such POSITIVE relationships is that they are for each other, they mutually encourage & challenge each other, they speak words of truth & provide counsel as needed/requested. It’s awesome, life-giving, & energizing having people in your life who want to see you win & that are willing to contribute to your effort too.
Hence, at a recent @bxrlondon x @victoriatheapp event organised by @iamlaurenwhite & skilfully taught by @yazmariagarcia I was able to reunite with several people SMASHING it their respective fields: @mrcalumbest @jordan_curtisofficial @charles_mance @elijahniko – it was an inspiration to be in your presence & motivated by your ENERGY: THANK YOU for helping me to ELEVATE MY HUSTLE! 🙏🏽
