“You are enough” means that there is nothing EXTERNAL from yourself necessary in order to validate yourself as “of value” or “worthwhile”. Your uniqueness & individuality is your “EDGE”, something no one else can replicate & realising this is what gives us our “POWER”.
As such, acknowledging that you ALREADY have everything you need within you to be “OF WORTH” can be scary, because it goes against everything we’re told & every comparison we’re constantly making vs. the next person.
If you understand that when we don’t think we’re enough, it’s because we are using external benchmarks and comparisons to define our worth, then this becomes a profound realisation on which we can start to really change our thinking & build differently upon.
Then ask yourself, “How do I feel about the FACT that my worth depends SOLELY on ME and what I ALREADY am?”
If you allow yourself to fully digest & accept this FACT, you will begin to feel differently. These feelings are the emotions that have been supporting your search for your worth EXTERNAL of yourself – acknowledge this & put it aside. Then practise pin-pointing everything that you ALREADY are & repeating the fact that these attributes are “more than enough” until the reaffirmation of this is unbreakably impregnable to the point that you persuade yourself that you have all that you need.
Creating this self-love, high self-esteem & self-acceptance then involves repeatedly telling yourself that you are a unique expression of life, a one-of-a-kind precious element of the broader universe & this is more than amazing enough to exist in its own right without the need for comparisons.
Hence, if we step out of a life of constant comparison and into the realisation that we are uniquely one-of-a-kind, then this is the path towards knowing we are enough.
Any other way won’t help you or anyone else, so accept the fact that you are your own “EDGE”, & that you are MORE THAN ENOUGH…..
