Out of resistance comes strength — Napoleon Hill
Typically, we aim to set our life up with situations that give us the least amount of resistance so as to avoid suffering & discomfort – understandable. However, this means that we build to live our lives in a “comfort zone”. Given that there’s no growth living within a comfort zone, that’s only “OK” if you’re interested in “standing still”, but “NOT OK” if you want more from yourself to truly realise your full potential; applicable to all aspects of life, including working out.
@raiseldn strength and resistance training form part of their core disciplines along with endurance, balance and flexibility, designed to help participants at their pop-up events to form a healthy workout routine for strength-training that pushes one beyond their personal limits, often associated with the use of weights.
The founders of @raiseldn – @wazashyer & @charlieboypeters – are arguably two of London’s TOP PT’s. Hence, when properly taught by these two, strength training can provide significant functional benefits, improvement in overall health and well-being, including increased bone, muscle, tendon, ligament strength and toughness, improved joint function, reduced potential for injury, increased bone density, increased metabolism, increased fitness and improved cardiac function. All of which help one RAISE the quality of one’s life in general!
