You Don’t Have To Have Experience
When you look at people who are successful, you will find that they aren’t the people who are motivated, but have consistency in their motivation – Arsene Wenger OBE, football manager
I was recently asked, “What app I use to re-touch my physique in photo’s,” to which my response was, “Running, going to the gym & doing IG bodyweight workouts CONSISTENTLY over a period of time, those are the “apps” I use.” Needless to say, the miscreant who posed the original question was left stunned in silence, unable to grasp the concept that I actually graft to try & keep fit – not easy for me – someone who was never “naturally sporty”, easily puts on weight, has a bad relationship with food, is naturally fatigued due to an under active thyroid issue, & who works up to 14hrs/day sat in an office including thru lockdown.
I’ll admit that good lighting, angles & tensing helps in my photos (L🤣L!!!), but I wanted to highlight here, aside from ignoring what the “haters” say, (which should be a given by now), is that CONSISTENCY is one of the biggest factors to staying in shape as it allows for measurement, creates accountability & makes you relevant.
Experts believe that patience, belief & how you value your actions are the factors that determine consistency. This means to workout consistently over a period of time, you need to be tough in the MIND, routined & be prepared for burnout & failures.
Hence, once you target that goal you seek to hit, it will require consistent dedication to your workout in order to attain results. By being consistent with your efforts, you will find that things will start to change in subtle ways b/c consistency will bring smoothness & clarity to the path leading to your goal. Moreover, this “theory” of consistency can be applied to all aspects in life, from education, to money, relationships & building businesses.
I have found that daily, consistent, focused, faithful habits raise one’s ability to achieve goals. It is believed that it takes 3mths of consistently doing something to form a habit. Persistence of such habits will help you attain your goals. Therefore, block out the noise, get to work and stay CONSISTENT!
