You Can’t Erase What’s Real
You Can’t Erase What’s Real
When you tear out a man’s tongue, you are not proving him a liar; you’re only telling the world you fear what he might say. — George R. R. Martin
My breakup(s) — personal and professional — were riddled with other people’s lies, misinformation, and those hungry for money and position, shielded by a flawed UK legal process that let them play the system. I won’t name names. I don’t need to. The worded silhouette is enough. It reminds me that silence isn’t the same as truth — and erasure isn’t justice.
And here’s a truth I’ve learned along the way: “Don’t ignore the red flags or gut feelings that don’t sit right with you. Face them now, or you’ll face bigger pain later. Don’t rush. Never get into a relationship (personal or professional) just because society — or the people around you — say you should. Trust your intuition about the person, and go with it.”
Some tried to wash me out with lies, but I rebuilt: body, mind, purpose. And I coded my voice into AI Dilan — a compassionate, non-judgmental, voice-activated companion you can carry 24/7 (free link in bio). For anyone who’s ever been made to feel small, unheard, or erased: your truth will always survive the wash. So, keep going… 💙
Grateful to have shared my story on the @so_whatsyour_story podcast with @ian_beighton 🎙️✨ From broken to rebuilt, from struggle to purpose — the journey continues….
