Your most valuable asset is YOU

Your most valuable asset is YOU. Hence, the expense of investing in YOURSELF is a cost worth making — unknown DA

Over a 5-7yr transformative period, I have punctuated my training with PT sessions to help educate myself on all things fitness. Head Trainer @ashevans_ash from @titanfitnessthailand is BEST IN CLASS on the Soi Ta-ied in Phuket, helping me achieve the following results:

BODY FAT MASS: 24.6% to 9.1%
WEIGHT: 85kgs to 58kgs
WAIST: 35inches to 27inches
VISCERAL FAT: lower than 2

If you add up what you waste on trivial day-to-day purchases, you’ll realise that alot of your money is consumed by things that don’t actually help improve yourself. Take-out food, fast fashion, boredom-led online purchases etc, might fleetingly make you happy but they don’t actually help you become the “best version” of what you are = total waste of money.

Yet, the cost of a 1-on-1 PT is perceived to be expensive & not something we immediately consider a priority purchase. I would argue that a 3-12mth+ commitment to a PT is a “small” cost when you consider the long-term VALUE that a PT can add to your wellbeing. Why? B/c a PT transcends just teaching you “correct form”, a good PT will in tandem, help advise you on nutrition, mindset & explain health metrics that quantify your progress.

Not all PT’s are created equal, hence, you must research to find an effective one. I found that some of the biggest advantages of having a GOOD PT are: A) extensive knowledge = can offer bespoke EXPERT ADVICE, B) avoid injury = guide you to SAFE, SUITABLE & SPECIFIC training & even rehabilitative exercises, C) take on accountability = CRITICAL, D) form customised achievable goals = FRESH IDEAS & INSPIRATION. YOU MUST DO THE WORK TO APPLY THE KNOWLEDGE that a PT arms you with, but being educated with the CORRECT information is key in the first instance, hence, the cost of this is worth the investment!

Reframing the “fitness narrative” means that training isn’t just changing your workout, it’s changing your lifestyle, which is one of the most pivotal benefits of a PT, that can influence how & when you exercise & ultimately how quickly you see the results you’re looking for!
